Making progress.  Out of the cast (again) and into a walking boot, off the crutches and using a cane.  By sometime in July, I should be starting physical therapy and slowly transitioning out of the walking boot (over the next couple months).  My goal is to be able to start some light hiking by fall.  In the meantime, I’ve been able to get out and do some off-roading in the desert and mountains.  So, this helps, but I’m still itching to get my boots back on and go hiking and do some exploring.  Keep checking back, as I keep adding new material…click on the links in the header, or just click here – Tales from the Desert.
