This is a very cool little site, located between Hiko, NV and Rachel, NV. The main site includes a scene where a pack of coyotes appear to be surrounding and attacking a big horn sheep. There are six coyotes around the big horn sheep, with two other big horns looking on from the outside. Curving around the front of the boulder is another coyote appearing to be chasing another animal (which is too faded/weathered to tell what it is). There is a LOT of lithic scatter all throughout the area (stone chippings from tool making, like spear points, etc.). There’s a small cave at this location, too. It’s now full of a rat pack’s nest, but you can see there was habitation from the soot on the ceiling. When I was walking up to this location, there were two coyotes that were bedded down that ran off…kinda’ cool since the petroglyphs have so many depictions of them.
