Flying in & out of Las Vegas, you get to experience some spectacular scenery from 35,000′.  Going west, you can go over Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Nevada mountains, Mammoth & Big Bear, Yosemite National Park, etc.  While going east, you get to fly over Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, Parashant National Monument and the Grand Canyon.  Here are some random pictures of the surrounding area from the air.
