The Redstone area is located within the 1.5 Million acre Lake Mead NRA.  It’s compromised of many beautiful red Aztec sandstone outcroppings at the base of the mountains.  It’s very easy to get to and has a nice parking lot and picnic location (located at mile marker 25 off Northshore Dr).  But, the real fun is getting out and exploring the endless amount of hoodoos & outcroppings.  There are several petroglyphs located in this area, too.
