There’s not much information I can find about this cabin besides its name. About 1/2 mile away is the old abandoned mine site. There’s really nothing left at the mine besides some tailings piles. The cabin is obviously old and was very well made. The logs were notched to fit tightly and there are small planks of wood hand-cut to fill in the gaps. The roof appears to have been long branches that were once covered by tin sheets.
The cabin is located directly off Logan Pass (Irish Mountain Rd) at about 6,800′. It’s about halfway between Logan ghost town and Crescent Mill. It would make an ideal spot to overnight camp.
