At the corner of Groom Lake Rd and HWY 375 near the town of Rachel, NV sits the infamous Black Mailbox.  This a location which has become famous in the lore of Area 51 and supposed on-goings at the base.  There’s really not much at this location, besides a mailbox and some random memorabilia.  The original mailbox was stolen a few years ago and it’s been replaced with a different one.  The mailbox is always being covered with stickers, which are cleaned off every now & then.  But, the process starts all over again with people that stop, hoping to catch a glimpse of something unusual in the skies.
