Ubehebe Crater is a 600′ deep volcanic crater located within Death Valley.  It’s very easy to get to, with the road and parking located right at the crater.  There are trails around the crater, as well as down to the bottom of the crater.  Really impressive crater to see in-person…huge!  And, you’re free to hike down to the bottom, if you want.
